HEALING COLOR® is the only hair color that heals, seals and protects, using L'ANZA's exclusive Flower Shield Complex® and Keratin Healing System for richer, longer-lasting color.  The two-step system incorporates a pre-treatment which primes the hair fibers for color uptake and deposition, resulting in more pigments per micrometer, better color adhesion, and more even coverage.  The post-treatment works to seal hair color into the hair through closing the cuticle, resulting in a glossy finish which no residual oxidative processing.  Together, the Color Extend system provides protection for hair up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. $15
